This was the main focus of my work as a Junior Researcher. It’s where I truly learned how to learn, developing core technical skills in C++ and Fortran (F90), as well as essential collaboration skills through team-based research. I also deepened my understanding of advanced physics and gained experience in...
Company: Junior Researcher
I’ve set a personal goal to complete 100 Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges on PicoCTF to sharpen my penetration testing skills. So far, I’ve completed 10 beginner-level challenges and continue to practice daily. Each challenge helps me deepen my understanding of core cybersecurity concepts, and I’m committed to progressing to...
Achieved the internationally recognized Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) certification, which validates hands-on skills in penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, and offensive security techniques. This credential demonstrates the ability to identify weaknesses in systems and networks, apply ethical hacking methodologies, and recommend effective defense strategies. What makes this achievement even more meaningful...
During the pandemic, I began an internship at Orange Business Services on the Lead Development Management team. While I appreciated the company culture and environment, I found that the role didn’t align with my desire for a more technical position related to my field of study at the time.
During university, I spent two years as an Undergraduate Researcher through a Scientific Initiation program. After graduating, my passion for learning and technical knowledge earned me a position as a Junior Researcher at the National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC). There, I sharpened my research skills and published four articles at the High Performance Regional School (ERAD-RJ). I also gained experience in low-level programming languages such as C++ and Fortran (F90), and worked on integrating AI into oil prospecting processes using Deep Operator Networks (DeepONets).
This internship marked the beginning of my learning journey. I gained hands-on experience with technologies such as Python, Haskell, Neo4j, SQL, and many others. As a software developer, I contributed to integrating AI solutions to automate labeling and generate recommendations for customers. I also developed essential soft skills, including communication, customer support, and proactivity.
I have studied for 5 years in the Catholic University of Petrópolis (UCP). There I learned crucial skills not only in the cybersecurity field, but also in programming, calculus and physics.
